Donation Tree

At Open House or Meet the Teacher Night, have a tree drawn on your chalkboard. Attach construction paper apples to the tree. On each apple write a request for consumable supplies you use with your students throughout the year. Invite parents to take an apple if they would like to donate any of the supplies. Possible requests might include: contact paper, ziploc bags of various sizes, hand sanitizer, post-it notes, magnetic tape, dry erase markers etc.
